Messages between Series
Sometimes we have breaks from the series
God calls us to hear the word in unique ways. Some times we have messages that are not part of a series, but are just as important and impactfully for us to hear and understand.
Not every message comes as part of a planned series. Sometimes, God puts something specific on a pastor’s heart—a word not tied to a theme, but anchored in the moment. These are the kinds of messages that are born out of prayer, reflection, and a sensitivity to the Spirit’s leading.
Today is one of those days.
This is not part of a series or a long-range plan. This is a word that God impressed upon me—a message for right now. It may be something someone here desperately needs to hear, something that will encourage, challenge, or even shift your walk with the Lord.
Throughout Scripture, we see moments where God speaks clearly to His people in real time. A burning bush. A whisper on the mountain. A vision in the night. A voice in the wilderness. These were not part of a pre-planned schedule—they were divine interruptions, timely messages that changed everything.
Today, I believe God has something timely to say to us. Let’s open our hearts and ears to hear not what I have to say, but what God wants us to hear.
It May Be a Timely Word Just for You
God often speaks in the moment to address current needs or situations.
A standalone message can be God’s way of meeting you right where you are—bringing encouragement, correction, or direction when you need it most.
These messages are often Spirit-led and come with a sense of urgency or personal relevance.
It Disrupts Routine and Sparks Fresh Perspective
When we’re not following a theme, we’re more open to unexpected insights.
Stepping away from a series can shake us out of spiritual autopilot.
It invites us to approach God’s Word with fresh ears, allowing the Holy Spirit to surprise and stretch us.
It Models Obedience to the Holy Spirit
Listening to a one-off message reminds us that God leads—not our plans.
The church must always remain open to God’s voice, even when it doesn’t fit the schedule.
When we value these messages, we affirm the importance of walking in step with the Spirit, both as leaders and as listeners.
